Get Five Rooms

Mac, iPad, iPhone, and the web.

One app for the Mac and one for iPad and iPhone, with the same project on all of them through your own iCloud. The web version runs in any browser, by invitation.

Mac

Coming to the Mac App Store. Needs macOS 26 or later.

iPad and iPhone

Coming to the App Store. Needs iPadOS 26 or iOS 26 or later.

On the web

Five Rooms on the web is open by invitation while it's being built. Projects you put on the web are encrypted on your devices before they leave; the servers never see your words. Ask for an invitation at hello@fiverooms.app.

What you need

Five Rooms is built for the current systems: macOS 26, iPadOS 26 and iOS 26. Syncing between your devices uses your own iCloud account and needs nothing else. The web version needs a browser with passkeys: Safari, Chrome, Edge or Firefox, on a Mac, PC, iPad or phone.

What it costs

Pricing will be announced when the apps are released.

Bringing your work

Five Rooms imports Scrivener 3 projects with their snapshots as history, Word manuscripts, Fountain and Final Draft scripts, and Substack publications. Your own projects are packages you can export and open again, and a plain-text mirror keeps the words in ordinary files. See Importing and Backups.
